Much like my partners, my interest in healthcare has been central to my life. Early on, I saw the value of high-quality care, whether as a patient or in my pre-medical studies and internships. While I was energized by the practice of medicine, I knew that I wanted to have a broad impact on healthcare, which I thought the business of healthcare could provide. As I entered business, I found a healthcare industry that is not only important, but also dynamic with constantly evolving technology, scientific breakthroughs, and regulations. Significantly, working in healthcare adds a mission-driven component to all I do.
As a growth investor, I have found partnering with entrepreneurs and founders to be deeply rewarding. I am motivated by getting to know the leaders who have the curiosity and conviction to start innovative companies and then helping them expand on the foundations they have laid. Together, we align on a thesis and action plan to grow their company into a market leader. My private equity career has allowed me to work with great companies such as MRO, Nuvem, CardWorks, Abeo, EyeCare Services Partners, BioAgilytix, Pilgrim Quality Solutions, PCI Pharma Services, DSI Renal, and LABSCO.
Prior to joining 3 Boomerang, I was a Principal at Parthenon Capital where I was a senior leader on the investment team responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments in healthcare IT and tech enabled services. Before Parthenon, I was a Principal at Varsity Healthcare Partners and a Vice President at Riverside Partners on the healthcare team. I began my private equity career at Frazier Healthcare Partners. I completed my undergraduate degree at Duke University and earned my MBA at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as a member of the Healthcare Management Program.
